is a mother-daughter team which started when the daughter
dragged the mother into this whole charade. It's the
mother's fault, really, she took the daughter to dog
shows as a child. It was only a matter of time before
it all clicked into place.
My
Mom showed her miniature poodle in Obedience when she
was a teenager, so the concept of showing dogs was already
in place, it just needed a good catalyst to make it
all come together. The catalyst is Casey;
she is the one who started the ball rolling and really
got us hooked.
My
Mom and I look nothing alike, so I suppose it would
only be fair to introduce you to each of us -- although
overhearing conversations because people don't realize
we are together has its perks. Nevertheless, on to the
introductions. I'm Ann, the master of the website and
chief commentator. I'm generally not dressed up like
that, and I'm most easily spotted by finding the only
person wearing a shirt that says Illinois... while in
a state that is most definitely not Illinois. All dry,
sarcastic remarks come from me, as do the highly opinionated
beliefs. If you have a disagreement with something that
is stated on this website, then you're going to want
to talk to me about it. Talking to my Mom will only
confuse you. She's still hoping we're going to have
puppies. We aren't. If you are already confused, don't
worry, it gets better.
This
is my Mom, Sue. We volunteer with the American Belgian
Malinois Club rescue group, and I'm a member of the
American Belgian Tervuren Club. I'm not sure why my
Mom is not a member; I'll have to work on that. We are
both members of the Hoosier All-breed Herding Association
(HAHA) in Indiana.
So,
that's us. If you ever see us at a show or trial, stop
by and say hi. But tell us how you know us, otherwise
we might be a little concerned.
