Whee is... well, Whee! Her name was supposed
to be Lotto, but she refused to respond to anything
other than "Wheeee puppy!" and so she became
The Whee.
Whee
has 9 AKC CH points, is a UKC Champion, and is a UKC
multiple group winner and placer. She will be spayed
this summer.
She
has qualified for the IGCA Versatility Master Certificate
in less than a year of trialing/showing. Whee has qualified
for 2 Total Dog Awards through the UKC. In January of
2006, she took 4 Group Placements, qualified in all
of her agility runs, and picked up a U-CD leg with a
2nd place -- all over the span of 2 days!

Whee
enjoys agility. As you can see, she really, really enjoys
jumping!! My biggest worry was that she'd jump over
the automatic timers and the clock would keep running!
Whee has an AXJ leg, and a few legs towards her Novice
Preferred titles. Unfortunately, her
eye condition prohibits active trialing due to lighting
situations, which in turn effects her speed. We'll keep
with Preferred or CPE trials to let her have fun.
.
Obedience
is Whee's big love. She is a heelin' fool. Whee's working
on her U-CDX right now, and will hopefully be out this
summer in Open when the trials start up again.

Eye Condition
| Whee
was diagnosed with Vitreous degeneration anterior
chamber, both eyes, with the left being the worse.
This is a serious condition for Whee, as it deeply
effects her vision and her daily life. Sunlight,
bright light, and florescent lighting cause Whee
much pain. She is unable to do agility to her
fullest ability as she cannot run in and out of
the tunnel without losing her ability to see.
Her vision problems were amplified due to the
preventative drops she is on.
Also,
she cannot continue to do agility or lure course/race
because the adrenaline associated with prey drive
/ working mode creates a massive amount of pressure
within the eye itself, causing severe pain and
bloodshod eyes.
Whee
goes to see a veterinary opthamologist 2 times
a year to check on the status of her eyes. Due
to the quality of care, Whee's eyes have been
delayed in progressing further. We are very grateful
for the wonderful doctors and staff at the clinic,
as they keep Whee as healthy as possible.
3.5 years old - was listed as PRA suspected due
to a very reflective retina.
4.5 years old - there was no change.
5.5 years old - there was no change.
Whee is on demicarium bromide and neopolydex to
keep her pupil constricted and to keep the inflammation
down to prevent luxation of the lens, respectively.
Whee is not registered with CERF as she is PRA
suspected and would not receive a number.
